On 10 January 2016, two days after releasing the album Blackstar on his 69th birthday, Bowie died from cancer. He had been diagnosed with the illness eighteen months earlier

German Molina Moreno (4 October 1933 – 8 January 2016), also known as Kuya Germs or the Master Showman, was a Filipino television host, actor, comedian and talent manager (star-builder) popular during the 1980s.

Kuya Germs suffered a mild stroke on 2 January 2015. His condition improved soon after, according to his son Federico Moreno.

One year after he suffered another stroke. He died on 8 January 2016 from cardiac arrest according to his nephew John Nite. He was 82 years old.
